HorsePower

A monthly series of reflections of my horse-related experiences at our small horse facility in suburban Long Island, NY, which we call Dreamcatcher Farm. I attempt in these pages to share insights into life towards which my horses have guided me.

About Me

My photo
tcgequine
My name is Tom Gumbrecht. I am a small business owner living on Long Island, with my wife Mary and niece (more of a daughter) Samantha and several horses, dogs and cats in our little suburban horse farm. I am a "weekend warrior" in competitive jumpers, and enjoy coaching my young ex-racehorse Thoroughbred mare for her second career as a showjumper.
